Winemaker Nick Paterson changed up our usual aged-in-old-French-oak-for-14-months style, and matured this wine for 6 months in a couple of our older French oak barrels and also a new Saury French oak barrel, giving a lovely combination of oak treatment. Maddie’s is a rich, full-bodied wine, showcasing all the magnificent Merlot berry fruit flavours.
